Rule #1: No Flaming
Everyone should know this. Under no circumstance is there to be flaming. If you don't know what it is, here is the definition: Flaming is the performance of posting messages that are deliberately hostile and insulting, usually in the social context of a discussion board.
Rule #2: Cussing
I don't care about mild or moderate swearing, but if it is severe or racist, then I will take action.
Rule #3: No Flooding
If you didn't know that flooding wasn't allowed... where have you been? So, no flooding the forum, or you will be IP banned immediately.
Rule #4: No Pornography
Just don't post links and/or pictures. IP ban if you do.
Rule #5: Caps Lock
Simple rule: Turn it off. You can Capital one or two words, but never a whole sentence.
Rule #6: No Name Stealing
You have a user name, so use it. Don't steal someone else's. Immediate IP ban if you do so.
Rule #7: Debates
Friendly debates are allowed. Flame wars are not.
Rule #8: Advertising
You may only advertise on your profile and the advertising forum. Anywhere else is spam.
Rule #9: No ROMs, emulators, serial codes, etc.
No ROMs, emulators, serial codes, none of that stuff. You will be banned If I catch you put one or hotlink it on here.
Rule #10: Inappropriate Naming
Inappropriate names are those that include swearing, intimate nature, and such are not allowed. Please choose a name that reflects what you want that is appropriate for all ages. Severe inappropriate names are banned on sight.
Rule #11: Signatures
Sigs may be up to 400 characters (enforced automatically) and may not be huge or they will be taken out by Bastila, who reserves the right to prune huge or inappropriate signatures at will.
Rule #12: Spam
No spamming my forum. This includes choppy posts, "anyone on" posts when there is a Who's Online feature, l33tspeek, and flaming. All-smiley posts are also Spam. Spam will not be tolerated. If you spam an Inbox, Immediate IP ban. If someone spams your inbox, then don't hesitate to report it to me immediately.
Rule #13: Use Good Grammar
Grammar is important in online forums. People who are disabled or do not have English as a first language have lighter weight from this rule to carry on and will not be treated bad by anyone. If I see a disabled or foreign person being harassed in anyway, I will warn the harrasser.
Rule #14: Hoaxes
Hoaxes pertaining to highly-anticipated world events or media releases or game releases will end up in the poster getting in big trouble.
Rule #15: Racial Comments/Discrimination
Racism is strictly prohibited. Do it, then you are in trouble no question. Discrimination to people who are disabled in some way is also prohibited, but depending on its level of offense, then you will get banned.
Rule #16: Personal Information
Whatever you put on here, other visitors and members can see it.
Rule #17: Karma
When you give or take karma to another member, please post a comment to the member under the karma board giving the reason for doing so.
